A new version of Sangiovese

Here in La Sala del Torriano we are constantly driven by new projects and ambitious goals.

The 2025 vintage has been truly exceptional and what a better opportunity to make the best of it by creating something new.

Our mission remains to push boundaries and offer only the very best to our customers, ensuring that every bottle tells the story of our land through a lens of innovation and excellence.

Chianti Classico land is famous for the reds, but what about a rosè from the same grape?

The new “Rosato” is made 100% from Sangiovese, manteining its soul but in a fresher version.

Winemaking & Sustainability: why we chose Stelvin

To preserve its aromatic integrity, we chose to ferment and age the wine exclusively in stainless steel vats, protecting it from oxygen and limiting maceration to less than two hours of skin contact.

The result is a refreshing glass, characterized by floral notes and delicate white-fleshed stone fruits.

For the first vintage of our rosé, the primary goal was to preserve the delicacy of its color and the fragrance of its aromas. For this reason, we chose the Stelvin screw cap closure.

In contemporary winemaking, Stelvin represents the standard of excellence for wines that rely on their aromatic bouquet as a core strength, protecting their nuances from premature oxidation and permanently eliminating the risk of cork taint.

This choice also represents a concrete step toward sustainability.
Using a lightweight, easily separable, and infinitely recyclable aluminum closure allows us to combine the ultimate protection of the wine in the bottle with an eco-friendly solution.

Our debut vintage, a limited run of approximately 2,000 bottles, has received excellent feedback.

Today, in the height of summer 2026, we look forward to the upcoming harvest with optimism, as preparations are now in full swing, ready to ensure production continuity with the next crush.
