The La Sala vineyards and land, now the property of Laura Baronti, were once owned by the famous Medici family, as far back as the 11th century.
The immense beauty of the surrounding landscape, its history, combined with the industrious work ethic of the Medieval times, remains intact to this day.  La Sala is a female-run company, ready to welcome, with proverbial Tuscan hospitality, all those who want to experience, at close hand, the production of a high quality wine. La Sala welcomes all those interested in wine production, particularly those interested in wine-tasting in the relaxing scenery of Tuscany.  To truely understand the history of La Sala, guests have the opportunity to visit La Sala’s splendid, modern wine cellar, with its steel wine barrels, and La Sala’s nineteenth-century wine cellar, with its French and American oak barriques.  * Wine tasting and wine cellar tour is free for parties of up to 8 people, from Monday to Friday, from 9.00a.m. to 4p.m.  Reservation is highly recommended.
